Matt is an art history lecturer, consultant, curator, and educator, based in the New York metro area. He focuses on vanguard art after around 1850, leading programs online and globally for academic, corporate, and nonprofit organizations. His recent talks include those for Renaissance Weekend, Stanford University, The Wharton School, and United Airlines. He is an Adjunct Senior Instructor at The Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia, and has taught at the Tyler School of Art since 2004.

Matt believes in putting the participant first, in inclusive and creative environments. One of his primary goals is to use art in unexpected ways, including for teaching best practices in business, medical, and other non-traditional genres.
